Show it, don’t just say it

What is the purpose of a portfolio?

It is to illustrate what you, “Can do”.
Except a lot of times, a lot of you are pushed to create full scope use-cases writeups as if it’s being put in a magazine.

It is my own hiring practice to request candidates to show what they can do now, not what they could do then. I believe firmly that as long as the request is reasonable to do within 24-48hrs and it clearly has nothing to do with the work one might be doing, this practice should be entirely respectable by the candidates.

Give them a start-window to push so we know when they start the work.
So I am going to go about this in an interesting way.

For anybody who comes upon this ahead of time, my intention is to show to you that I know how to prototype, by providing a few demos of the same animations across multiple platforms.

A resume and portfolio in one.

But first, I play video games with my son – because he still asks for me to play with him. 🙂
